“ visiting from out of town and saw the good reviews and needed to check it out. we arrived at opening time but they were having a 15 minute delay with opening but we were able to put our name on the list. It really didn't present an issue for us and it was worth the wait. Our waitress was great. very attentive and sweet. Our order came within 15 minutes of placing it. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit undercooked but was able to get a fresh batch that was perfect. My chicken was really good that I dipped in the teriyaki sauce. I would definitely come back again. good food, good atmosphere, and good service. ”
“ Cute surfing-inspired decor. Husband and I started with the hush puppies and Hang Ten traditional wings. The wings had a habanero-based restaurant recipe sauce. It had a little kick, but was very tasty. The hush puppies were served with cinnamon butter and had the perfect crunch. Hubby had the Cobb salad and I had the Hang Ten bacon cheeseburger with fries. Honestly, the burger was too thick for me, but it's not a bad thing to have larger portions. Everything was good, and our waiter was a nice young man, very helpful and polite. ”
“ Yum! One of our favorite places we dined while visiting Carolina Beach. We sat on the upstairs patio since we had our little dog with us. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick! My husband and I both ordered the Mahi sandwich and loved it. He got fries with his and I got the chips with mine. The fish was blackened perfectly and tasted great. Our waitress was Steph P. and she was amazing! We would visit this place if we were in town again! PS - they also charge a convenience fee of $1.69. ”
“ Cool place for dinner! Amazing it was a converted beach house into a restaurant. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Quick service and good food. My daughter had the chicken Cesar wrap and raved about it. My wife had the burger and she ate all of it! 1/2 lb of charcoaled cooked goodness. My daughter's friend had the buffalo sandwich. I went for the shrimp basket. Flavor filled and everything was great! ”
“ Great little spot for dinner after a day at the beach! Nice outdoor seating area & the inside is a little smaller! For appetizer we got the hush puppies, they were good! Not the best I've ever had, but good. Was not a fan of the cinnamon butter. Entrees I got the mahi sandwich and fries. Very good and the fries taste like fair fries which are always the best! Husband got the fish and chips and those were amazing as well. The breading on the fish was very very good! & the tarter sauce was amazing! ”
“ Got the Philly to-go last night and it was delicious! Although the fries tasted as if they were to go (really no way around it) there were tons of them! Philly doesn't come with mayo on it but they will give you packets where you can add yourself. ”

The mahi on the sandwich was the best I had from my trip on Carolina & Kure beach. So flavorful and tasty. The fries are hand-cut and the portion size is filling. The restaurant has tons of seating outside to grab a drink and take in the views of Carolina Beach Lake Park. Yes! Eat here! Support local! Cheers! ”
